The ETO equipment is a highly effective device for sterilizing medical instruments. The water ring rotational pumps are intended to keep the ETO percentage in the chamber at an optimal level. It is also used to prepare the atmosphere for the ETO decontamination procedure. To maintain the temperature consistent, the chamber is preheated by steam. How often should hot air oven maintenance take place?
- Twice a year.
When should an ETO machine be serviced?
- When ETO Sterilizer and Aerator does not have a periodic preventative work program that is overseen by a well-trained individual.
- When maintaining EO Sterilizers or conducting any test cycles, pressurized gas or another certified alternative is not utilized.
- Once the parts are inspected and found to be ok, we start with our procedures of service.
- If any fault is found in any of the devices, then we will make sure that it is addressed and then move on to the servicing process.
What process do we follow when we come for servicing a ETO Sterilizer?
- We first do the routine check by looking at the standard test procedures.
- Also, the parts and elements inside the hot air oven are carefully inspected.
- Once the parts are inspected and found to be ok, we start with our procedures of service.
